In my last post, I reviewed Affiliate Marketing, and specifically, MRR (Master Reseller Rights). Today we’re taking a look at Digital Marketing. There is another acronym I’ll be discussing today. PLR, or Private Label Rights. These types of documents also have no copyright, and you are allowed to make some changes to them and claim them as your own; however, they do come with a couple of restrictions. In my case, I did purchase a package of PLR Journals and Planners. Once I have them updated the way I want them, I will come back and link them here. The restrictions imposed on me are not to resell as the same bundle I purchased. I can break up the bundles, or sell them individually. But I cannot pass along the right to resell them. For that, you would have to purchase a PLR bundle from a designer directly.
For the purpose of this post, though, I want to discuss the concept, rather than try to sell you my journals and planners. Although I will try to do that at some point. A girl’s gotta eat, right? Kidding! Sort of. But I do think they’ll provide some value, if they’re your thing. I’ll have some that speak to my spooky side (Halloween should be an all-year celebration, AMIRIGHT?!). Others will be focused on RVing, camping, and history fans, which we know is also me. If you’re detecting a theme here, you’ve got it. If I sell it, it’s usually because I really like it!! Hence the reason I don’t purchase MRRs and jump on that bandwagon.
PLRs? Totally different story.
This is something I can get behind. It’s selling a product, not much different than the journal I’m consistently referencing that my daughter gifted me. 🙂 Someone selling calendars, planners, To Do Lists and journals aren’t jumping at the bit to make you rich. Digital Marketers provide a product, and if you like that product and want to USE it (NOT sell it), then you have the chance to purchase it. If you don’t, cool cool. If you think a friend would like it, we appreciate you referring them to our link. But I won’t be promising to make you a multi-millionaire in 10 months, and I’m not forcing a journal or planner down anyone’s throats.
So what does Digital Marketing look like?
Digital Marketing I have found to be mostly creatives, like me. Particularly lazy erm, busy ones. 🙂
I enjoy designing things like planners and journals. Though I’m not ecstatic about creating all of the lines, and listing the days of the week, check boxes and making sure the boxes line up with the lines for your writing. I want to make them look pretty and to add the content that I want in them, like RVing, History, or Crafting.
So rather than spend all my time on the mundane part of setting up calendars, checklists and the like, I spent $20 and purchased a PLR bundle. After I spent that $20, I clicked NO on no less than 8 upsells, because that’s all the rage these days. (Looking for the rolling eyes emoji). But I did get a good deal – I wound up with the bundle I was looking for, and a store to sell them in, complete with funnels that will require people to click NO 8 times to avoid upsells – at least until I can figure out how to make that more manageable. Again, once I’ve completed those, I’ll come back and review (and link) my own Journals and Planners, and whatever else I design to sell in my store. (Just ignore the childish squee you heard).
Now, again, if you go searching for Digital Marketers on social media… and trust me, unless you are seriously considering a Side Hustle, you do NOT want to do that, as it will take over your feed so fast. Then you have to train the algorithm all over again to show you what you actually want. Now, if you do want that, shoot me an email with any questions you may have. I can definitely point you in the right direction!
Maybe I do want to join the Digital Marketing Takeover of Instagram
